ClearPlex Contour will carry an 18-month warranty or an 18,000-mile warranty. The warranty covers manufacturer defects such as yellowing, cracking, peeling and adhesive failure. 

Superior Protection: 

ClearPlex Contour offers the highest level of protection against rock chips and flying debris. The average windshield is 20% of the structural integrity of the vehicle. This is why it is illegal to drive with a cracked windshield. When comparing Contour to TPU-based films, Contour’s ability to prevent cracks and chips far outperforms. 

Clarity: 

Contour is virtually invisible. This film most closely resembles glass in look and feel. 

Durability: 

Contour features an all-new ultra-hard top coat that won’t haze, yellow, or absorb dirt and organic stains. The top coat most closely resembles that of glass. Also, WPF’s of the past would easily scratch and micro scratch causing diminished visibility. Contour’s top coat allows for easy cleaning and windshield wiper usage. The film is rated to withstand wet wiper usage, but it is recommended to ensure that wipers remain free of debris and are cleaned and maintained routinely. 

Polarized: 

Despite being clear, Contour ClearPlex Windshield Protection Film features UV stabilizers which reduce the amount of heat in your vehicle and help prolong the life of your interior. With its polarized finish, the film can help reduce glare. Because of this technology, if the driver is wearing polarized lenses, they may notice some rainbow light refraction. 

Aftercare: 

Clean the WPF with glass cleaner. Light pH car wash soaps are recommended. Wash and clean in a cool or shaded area. The use of machine car wash is highly discouraged. Adding PPF & Vinyl Top Coat adds a hydrophobic effect, and self-cleaning and further reduces wiper abrasion. Sport can be used as an annual service.
